The book fair opens tomorrow morning, and the selection of books is fantastic! There are tons of new titles this year for students to choose from! EWallets can be purchased through our Scholastic website, and students may also shop with cash. The book fair will be open from Mon., Sept. 19th-Wed., Sept. 28th. We will also be open during parent conferences on Thur., Sept. 22nd.
This week we are excited to celebrate Grandparents Lunch. To accommodate our expected guests, our lunch schedules have been altered Sept. 12-16th. If you plan to eat lunch with your child this week, you are encouraged to call the office to confirm the time. Grandparent and Grand VIP lunches will be held at 11:55 each day as follows: Mon.-4th grade/ Tues.-3rd grade/ Wed.- 2nd grade/ Thur. 1st grade/ and Fri.- Kindergarten.
Next week, we will be celebrating Grandparents Day by inviting grandparents to each lunch with our Sequoyah students! Each grade level will host grandparents on a different day of the week. We are looking forward to welcoming our grandparents into our building for this special lunch.
Today, we honor all of America's workers. We hope you have enjoyed your Labor Day weekend. We look forward to seeing all of our students tomorrow as classes resume.

We're ready to crunch... We're ready to munch... We're ready for lunch! It's lunch time at Sequoyah!
We want all of our students to arrive home safely at the end of each school day. Please review our dismissal schedule and information regarding any transportation changes your child may experience throughout the year. We are looking forward to a safe and happy year!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
All RSD buildings and offices will be closed Thursday, August 11th and Friday, August 12th for districtwide professional development.
RSD elementary schools will host “Meet the Teacher” today, August 9th, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at each campus. This is a come and go event for students to meet their teacher and see their classroom. It's going to be a great year!
