Cyclone Broadcasting had a whirlwind month of real world experience and new connections!
Our team toured THV11 and gained valuable insight from management and legendary Arkansas anchor Karen Fuller, Meteorologist Skot Covert, Jurnee Taylor, and Wake Up Central host Hayden Balgaavy.
Broadcasting students job shadowed NASA scientists and media relations personnel over two days during the eclipse. This job shadow included exclusive interviews with the team and oversight of a live NASA TV broadcast.
Cyclone Broadcasting also visited Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville and worked alongside SEC Network personnel and Razorback Sports Network producers during a live SEC Network broadcast of Arkansas Razorback softball.
The program will soon debut its lineup for the brand new Cyclone Broadcasting Media Mentorship program. This one of a kind program pairs students and media professionals for regular, one on one interactions to help improve and encourage students.
