the Gold medalist of the 2023 Microsoft Office Specialist US National Championship Microsoft Word (Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019). Joy was awarded a $3000 scholarship, an XBox, and an all expense paid trip to the World Championship. Way to go and good luck at the World Championship!

Congratulations to these 15 Russellville High School students for obtaining the Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy demonstrating proficiency in English and Spanish.
Adopted first by California in 2011, the Seal of Biliteracy is now recognized in 49 states and Washington D.C. According to the official website, “the Seal of Biliteracy encourages students to pursue biliteracy, honors the skills our students attain, and can be evidence of skills that are attractive to future employers and college
admissions offices.” Since the 2017 pilot year in Arkansas, a total of 4,362 students from 95 high schools around the state have attained this certification across twenty-four languages other than English.
