Although a foreign language credit is not required for graduation from RHS, it is strongly encouraged especially for students planning to attend a four-year college or university. In the French II and Spanish II, III and IV courses, the students will build on skills developed in French I and Spanish I while continuing to work to communicate effectively in the respective language. French is offered at RHS through online courses through Virtual Arkansas, while Spanish is offered through direct instruction at RHS.
